Michael Perkins, PT

Hello and welcome to Inspire Physical Therapy!  My name is Michael Perkins.  I am a Christian, husband, father, PT,  Aggie (class of 1996) and owner of Inspire.  My wife Denise, Texas A&M class of 1997, is our co-owner, and we have been blessed with four beautiful children.  We both grew up in this community and are thankful that we are getting to raise our children here as well.

I graduated from UT Southwestern PT school in 1999 and since have been blessed with the opportunity to serve the Brazos Valley as a PT.  I have an absolute passion for the overall health and well being of my patients.  I view physical therapy as a ministry and am overjoyed to help my patients accomplish health and wellness far beyond anything they've known before.

I have a holistic approach to medicine and believe that health and wellness start in the heart and at the core.  From diet to exercise, from alignment to fitness, I find great worth in helping our patients discover their maximum potential.  I have been practicing in this community for over 20 years, have made many incredible friends, and feel the best is yet to come.  I am excited to daily continue this healing ministry as an extension of the loving hands of Christ and invite you to be a part of the Inspire experience.

Jessie Arden, PTA

Hi! My name is Jessie Arden, and I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. I received my bachelor’s degree in Applied Exercise Physiology from Texas A&M in 2016. Two years later, in 2018, I graduated from Blinn’s Physical Therapist Assistant program with an associate’s degree. After spending one of my clinical rotations with the Inspire team, I was more than happy to officially join the family in March of 2019.

I was born and raised right here in Bryan, Texas. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. My passion for physical therapy began as a young competitive dancer who was prone to injury. I love to get to know my patients outside of their injury, and help them get back to doing what they enjoy!

Hello! My name is Howard Davison, and I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. After graduating from Sam Houston State University in 2010 with a degree in Criminal Justice, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. After a few years in Houston I graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in 2017 with an Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant and have been working in this field ever since. In 2021 my wife and I moved back to the BCS area and I was blessed with the opportunity to work with Michael and his wonderful team at Inspire.

As a BCS native I'm excited to be back home. On the weekends you can find me hanging out with my wife and my family. I enjoy working out, being outdoors and relaxing. Fun fact, I received my Eagle Scout badge when I was 17. If you come on in, be sure to say hi!

Paige Robinson, LMT

Hey! My name is Paige and I’m a licensed massage therapist. I joined the Inspire team in May 2018 and love serving here and working with these incredible people. I graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M (class of ‘00) and continued my education in 2017-18 pursuing massage therapy at Healing Handz Massage Academy. I am certified in manual lymph drainage through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (Vodder technique) and love to help people experiencing edema problems within my scope of practice. I have completed continuing education courses in headaches, total knee/hip replacements, and self-care. A typical massage one might receive from me could be a relaxing massage to aid in reducing stress, increasing circulation and pliability of muscles, or a therapeutic massage to work through some tight spots or muscle issues, or the combination of both.

Massage may seem to only deal with the physical side of a person yet our heart, soul and mind are also connected to what goes on in our body - the holistic approach. I love meeting people where they are and encouraging them in their journey to wellness. The goal of each session is determined by the patient’s needs and my skill set. Additionally, it is a privilege of my job to get to pray with patients if they so choose.

Some of my favorite things to do are worshipping the Lord, spending quality time with family & friends, listening to others share about their life experiences, being outdoors, playing sports, reading, exercising, going on new adventures, and laughing.

Melissa Spiller, Front Desk Administrator

Hello, I am Melissa Spiller and it is a privilege to be part of the INSPIRE team. I am usually the person who greets you at INSPIRE. I have worked in the medical field in Bryan/College Station for 20 years. I'm from a small town in East Texas but moved here with my high school sweetheart, Craig, and we've made this our home since 1996. We have been blessed with three daughters who keep us entertained and active.  My motto is "giving, caring, loving, sharing" and there is no better place to live that out each day than INSPIRE Physical Therapy.

Kelli Thornton, PT

Hi there! I am Kelli Thornton. I am a licensed Physical Therapist and a 1996 graduate of Texas State University’s Physical Therapy Program.

I have advanced training in dry needling, women’s health and am certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment.

I have a heart for service and a passion for the practice of physical therapy. For 23 years I have been blessed to work in a field that affords me the opportunity to develop authentic, Christ-honoring relationships through the provision of innovative and individualized care. I am committed to helping each patient realize their full potential while celebrating and sharing in their successes along the way.

I am new to Inspire Physical Therapy but I am not new to this community. In the last 16 years, I have had the distinct honor to own a small private practice and to mentor some pretty awesome people along the way. Recently, however, God began moving me back to what he called me to do in the first place…and that was not pushing papers and crunching numbers in an office!

Stepping out in faith can be scary and is usually uncomfortable…but WOW! I could not have tailor picked a better place to finish out my career. I am excited to be a part of Inspire Physical Therapy, a team that puts loyalty, teamwork, stewardship, and accountability to practice.

My husband Mark and I have been married for 22 years and we are blessed with two sons, Braden and Zayne. After years of burning the candle at both ends and trying to do it all, It’s time for this girl to slow down, catch her breath and be present for each messy moment, because after all….home with these 3 guys and our dogs…that’s my most favorite place to be.

Kate Tyson, PT

Hello! My name is Kate Tyson, and I am a licensed Physical Therapist here at Inspire Physical Therapy.

I grew up in Amarillo, Tx prior to moving to College Station to earn my undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University.  Soon after graduating from A&M, I moved to Dallas, Tx to earn my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern.

I applied for a job at Inspire soon after graduating after hearing from friends and family about how wonderful of a clinic Inspire is! I quickly observed that it is a clinic that not only cares about the physical aspect of patients but also the emotional, mental and spiritual aspects as well. My vision for physical therapy is to use it to serve the people around me and glorify the Lord to the best of my ability and felt like I could do that well with the team at Inspire! I started serving at Inspire in March 2024.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy serving at my church Redeemer Baptist, spending time with my fiancee and friends, and doing active things like running or playing pickleball and spikeball!
